Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services bets on ProGlove

Munich, January 25, 2018

Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services (LTLS) looks to the innovative Internet of Things (IoT)
technologies of ProGlove. “ProGlove connects the operator to the industrial IoT,” explains
Thomas Kirchner, CEO of ProGlove. “Our smart wearables enable hands-free and thus more
efficient scanning. Additionally, mistakes are avoided, and the process quality is increased by
giving operators direct visual, acoustic, and haptic feedback on their work steps.” This means
that ProGlove is an important part of the new digitization program of LTLS, which was
implemented specifically for the Digital Warehouse at the pilot site of Munich Airport.

“ProGlove’s smart data glove has been very well received by our employees and makes their
work easier. It is like it was made for us,” explains Dr. Harald Kolbe, Head of Digital Innovation
at LTLS. “As part of our digitization program, we are looking to work with startups to test new
technologies that have reached, or are about to reach, market maturity.”

With the stationing of new aircraft types such as the Airbus A350, the warehouse at Munich
Airport is one of the fastest-growing and most modern warehouse spaces of LTLS. More pilot
applications, including the further development of the smart data glove with integrated display,
are planned during the first half of 2018.
